Okay, so I am not doing so well on the blog. As you have guessed, alot has happened in the last few months. First of all, a little thing called Christmas came and went. Wesley had his Christmas program at school. During the ceremony he was proudly showing off a "Gem" that he had found.
Grandma and Papa came to South Carolina to visit. We had a great time doing all kinds of fun things. We went to the lights at the zoo.
Made cool things with Legos.
And made cookies, lots of cookies.
Then in January. Wesley had the coolest birthday party ever. He thought he was having a bug party and it turned out to be a surprise "Nature Party." We had a Youth Education Expert come to the house and she brought wonderful surprises.
A Southern Toad.
A Box Turtle.
A King Snake and a Possum!!!
Then we had a bug cake and opened presents.

That looks like a great birthday party! I know 2 little boys that would have really dug it!
I also really like Wes' face in the cookie eating picture. How priceless. I'm sure I look like that sometimes too when I eat cookies...
What a cool birthday. Next year I will have to make love cakes (I cannot remember when I last had one warm).
