Catch up on the Black Family

Hello,

Since everyone else is blogging, I figured we would give it a try. Hopefully, it is easy because we really don't have a lot of time around here. I am not quite sure how we stay busy, but we do.

First of all, Wesley is almost 4. I know it is hard to believe. He is such a wonderful kid. His favorite things are bugs, dinosaurs, bike riding, scootering on a two wheel scooter and riding his bike without training wheels. He can recognize all of his letters and now we are working on writing them.

Lauren-
Lauren is 19 months old and is much sweeter now that we have her reflux under control again. She can also be a bit feisty when she doesn't get her way. She loves her brother and is the apple of daddy's eye. Lauren loves to talk on the phone, go to the gym daycare and eat. She is talking alot and can say alot of phrases. I want down, I want up, more, more juice, etc.

Halloween was a lot of fun. We were pirates this year.
Aargh!! This is the first year Wesley actually
understood the concept, and off he went with his
friends; mom and dad were left way behind.
By the end of the evening, his pumpkin was so
heavy he couldn't even carry it. That's when I
found out he was taking handfuls of candy. Its all about the loot, especially for a pirate. Lauren loved Halloween also, as long as she had
enough candy for the wagon ride. She ate her candy faster than she accumulated it.

David has been busy working and mountain bike riding. Some of my crazy friends talked me into sprint triathlons, so that is what my summer consisted of. I participated in 4 of them. David and I started road biking together with a biking group. This paid off because I was normally in the top 3 of my age group in the bike category. It is nice to do things as a couple again. Of course, with the cold weather, it is a little harder to get out on the road.

We've also done the normal pumpkin patch thing. I have included some pictures as well as some other fillers. Hopefully, I can keep up with this a little easier.
